Sunny on 30A

After the wettest week I can remember, the sun came out peeking out yesterday morning and we were given a much needed a sunny day.

This week who really knows what will happen but the forecast for South Walton 30A looks much more tolerable. We should expect thunderstorms but it doesn't look like we will be seeing the "100% chance of rain" days like last week. Thunderstorms are fun but it is also fun to watch them move-on. The water still looks kicked up but this morning it wasn't throwing any June grass up to shore so that's a good thing. It's best to watch the SWFD websites for changes in surf conditions before you go in. It's smart to watch the flags but check the site if you want to get a heads up before you go. No reason to ruin your day by someone in the family getting caught in a rip current. Yes the lifeguards are wonderful but they are best left in their lifeguard towers and they don't cover the whole beach.

Here's to a good day no matter what the weather brings.
