At the end of a walk in the forest it's always nice to get home. It's been chilly lately. We had a frost that took the non-native plants down. The little green tomato's looked like Christmas ornaments on a Halloween tree. So today I pulled them all out to get ready to plant lettuce and broccoli. I've had to leave one dead zinnia because the garden spider used it for a nursery but they are finally starting to hatch. They are hard to see with the naked eye but we zoomed in on a photo we took of her yesterday and you can make them out. I'll be glad to get rid of that dead plant but she can hang onto it until they leave. Through my gardening and storms and now the cold weather she has stayed there guarding them. What a momma!!!
