Lone Pelican
The water was interesting today. Lot's of Sargassum; the plant life and the clear water make a strong contrast. The tiny fish jumping in the Sargassum entertained a few kids standing at the edge of the action. I liked that the kids weren't afraid of the thick gulfweed.
What was really beautiful to me today was the horizon. The water was the same color as the sky; the separation just a difference in texture. It reminded me of a South Florida day. Not South Beach, more Rickenbacker Causeway.
Of course the magnificent pelicans are always there to remind you how wonderfully old everything is.
