4th of July Crab at Blue Mountain Beach
It's the 4th of July weekend. We went out to the beach early so we could get to the Seaside Farmers Market for some "real" tomato's before 9am. You mostly find locals out at the beach early...it's fun to see people and pooches we know and see out and about all week.
After checking out what Tommy was fishing for and saying hello to neighbors Barry and Sarah,
I sat down to watch the crab hole next to the little flag I put in the sand earlier. I thought it might be early for the crabs too but before you know a funny little guy came up to see who was making a racket above his home. At first he was shy, darting up and back quickly now and then but then he came out for a friendly staring match which I eventually won.
We are lucky to live here in America the beautiful.
Happy birthday USA!
