McTighue's Pub

Living on 30A you have everything  if you look around. Even a really good tavern. We live down the street from Johnny McTighue's Irish Pub in Santa Rosa Beach and I'm happy about that. It doesn't look like much but when you just want a Philly Steak or a Reuben or a Greek Salad or a goooood pizza, this is the place to go. And as an added benefit, every once in awhile, when the music on the juke box is right, the whole tavern sings together...a "one with the universe" moment. Tonight it was John Prine that got it started, then Van Morrison, then Joe Cocker singing Randy Newman and we just didn't want to leave. Life is good on 30a.
