It's been a couple of weeks since the festival so before I get all excited about the next 30A event, I want to go on record saying the Songwriters Festival was outstanding from my perspective. I worked at Bud and Alleys Friday night and enjoyed the whole line-up. Starting with Brian Davis, Ben Glover, Joe Leathers and Pete Sallis who I wasn't familiar with and ending with a set from legends Gary Nicholson and Lari White, I would say I spent a really great evening of music. I particularly enjoyed hearing Angel Snow.
Didn't get to see anyone on Saturday but Sunday was just terrific starting with Callaghan opening for Shawn Mullins at the Lyceum. Mark your calendars for next year.
