Ft Walton Beach to Niagra Falls

Vision Airlines has opened a new flight from Niagara Falls NY to Ft Walton Beach, FL continuing to Miami Florida. Wow is that great for us. We hopped right on their inaugural flight to Niagara Falls to see family in Canada. The Niagara Falls airport is 30 miles from our people across the border in Beamsville so this is going to be a wonderful resource. And since we also love Miami, we are most grateful to be part of this flight path. The flight to Niagara Falls was fun. It was full of press and marketers so everyone was in high spirits. Once we got to NY, it was an easy ride to the Canadian/American border and we got through by car with just a little delay. Bruce's daughter has the loveliest tea parlour in Ontario so we went there for lunch. Willow Creek Cafe is as pretty as you please and serves wonderful food. The delight is in the details and Liz delightful. We didn't stay in Niagara Falls but heard from folks on the plane with us that they enjoyed museums, learned about Frank Lloyd Wright, and visited the site where the 1950's Marilyn Monroe / Joseph Cotton film Niagara was shot. The original film cast stayed on the Canadian side of the falls which are really stunning but next time I'll give the American side a look since that was the film setting. Anyhow, we are thrilled to have this direct flight available and look forward to more weekend visits north.
