Saw one

This afternoon we went to the beach for sundown. There lighting was perfect. The sun shining on the water, the sand reflecting the colors of sundown, people were beautifully halo'ed. There were two teenagers lying on the sandbar, waves washing over their perfect selves. There were 3 kites sharing the sky with the moon in the east. There were 2 grandma's enjoying their children, several mothers watching them with love. Dads playing in the surf with children. So dimensional and full of grace. I didn't have my camera but I'll never forget the imagery.
I also saw a tarball. Oddly, I was resigned to it, almost at peace. I can see what we may go through but I can also see that we will get through it.

  1. I used to live in Lake City, Florida, and miss the trips to various beaches now that I live in the Northwest. It is distressing that this oil volcano is messing up so many lives in so many ways. I will follow your blog and intend that solutions are found, including a more sustainable life with less demand for oil.
