The Top of the Mountain
Almost every week, I put together an email bulletin for Bruce's customers that reports the area sales for the last 7 days. It was interesting to see that this week, Blue Mountain Beach had all the sales in residential land as well as the highest and lowest prices listed in the sold column for detached homes. So we aren't the only ones who like it here on the highest point of the Gulfcoast. Blue Mountain Beach has some of the finest and most expensive homes in St. Joe's first development, The Retreat. It also has, I might add, some of the finest but much more modestly valued homes in neighborhoods like ours. As residents we all get to share the year-round benefits of an amazing beach and a really neat little State Forest used by hikers, bikers and equestrians. Two additional benefits are For The Health of It, our beloved health food market, and Big Daddy's bike shop. Both located at the top of the mountain, the highest point in Blue Mountain Beach, these establishments have been here for some years and the people who own them and work them are very special. There are many special neighborhood people and places that keep me inspired and very happy to live here. In this season of thanks and everyday, I am grateful to this community for providing a great place for my, as of yesterday, 17 year old daughter to grow up in. Couldn't find a better place or a nicer girl.
