Daisy's Garden Shop

One of the best things about Santa Rosa Beach is Daisy's Garden Shop on hwy 98. Owners Tom and Roger have the nicest plants and so much knowlege of the natives that work best in our sandy soil. Some of my favorite plants have come from there: native azaleas (wow are they something wonderful), stokes aster (this spring they just couldn't please enough), passion flower (such a spectacular surprise) and red bud (lovely color in spring and apparently delicious caterpillar food right now). All of the above are happy happy happy, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds into the chaos that is our garden. Our friend Christine works at Daisy's now...how lucky is that. And Raquel recently painted the wonderful new signs. It's been a pleasure to watch this business grow. Some milkweed came home with me today. The Monarchs should like that addition. Daisy's is a must visit for gardeners to the area.
