The Pelicans of 30A
Our pelicans are beautiful. Well I'm a big fan of all the creatures I meet along the shoreline so I might be biased. It's a pleasure to walk the beaches anytime but in December it's so quiet, so peaceful and much easier to get some quality time with the birds. I can testify that watching a pelican paddling around one of the dune lakes is one of the best way to pass time and get one with the universe. To "sit quietly and smile" is easily accomplished during this activity. However brief.
