Northwest Florida Winter Lettuce

Crazy winter. It was in the 20's at night for almost two weeks. Still, I had the urge to plant so I planted some more lettuce seeds, including arugula and chard. The lettuce I planted in December hung in there through the hard frost. The chives made it as did the Meyer Lemon bush and my one and only palm. Now it's back to more seasonal temps. Some rain, then clear and cold. We will see what happens as the winter progresses.

The beach was beautiful today. Spent a little time taking pictures at a beach house Bruce just sold in Grayton just behind the Red Bar. Not a bad way to spend the morning.
